Prof. Dr. Vahit Özmen 16-20 Ekim 2014 tarihinde Orlando, ABD’de yapılan The 18th SIS World Congress on Breast Healthcare toplantısında Senologic International Society’nin Eğitimden Sorumlu Yönetim Kurulu Üyeliğine seçilmiştir.

Prof. Dr. Vahit Özmen, bu kongrede Meme Kanseri Tarama Programı ve Meme kanseri Tedavisinde Gecikmeler konularında 2 konferans vermiş ve oturum yönetmiştir.
